5G coverage maps are generated by MTN based on available tower capacity and signal strength 3D modeling. Certain factors such as device placement and interference from man-made structures and obstructions, weather conditions and vegetation growth may prevent your router from connecting to 5G. In these instances, your device will fallback to 4G LTE-Advanced, with speeds up to 300Mbps.
What speeds can I expect from my 5G?
5G can reach maximum speeds of up to 500Mbps, which are blazing fast speeds. However, maximum speeds cannot be guaranteed as several factors affect speed and quality of the connection which include, but are not limited to distance, weather, and interference around and within the property.
The device used plays an important role in us giving you a great speed experience, which is why we recommend buying your router from us. Also, because of the nature of the wireless network, we cannot offer any SLA’s on the service.

Up to 30Mbps – Once 50GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps
Up to 75Mbps – Once 150GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps
Up to 125Mbps – Once 300GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps
Up to 150Mbps – Once 500GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps
Uncapped Pro – Once 1000GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 1Mbps
VODACOM Packages and AUP
Up to 20Mbps – Once 50GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps
Up to 30Mbps – Once 150GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps
Up to 50Mbps – Once 300GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps
Uncapped Pro – Once 600GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 1Mbps

Up to 10Mbps – Once 500GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 4Mbps fpr an additional 50GB
